On March 26th, with the great assistance of the Economic and Commercial Office of Chinese Embassy in Thailand, the advance team of Shanghai Fair visited the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand. On behalf of DITP, Mr. Nissana Thaveepanit, Director of Overseas Market Development Office, welcomed the visit of Shanghai Fair Committee, and thanked Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, Shanghai Service Federation and Shanghai Fair Committee for organizing more than ten high-tech enterprises to participate in "Sino-Thai High-tech Industry Exchange" organized by Office of International Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand last year, and Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce of Thailand, highly appreciated the results of this activity. DITP is looking forward to more cooperation with Shanghai Fair Committee this year.
Ms. Beilei Wang , Secretary General of Shanghai Fair Committee, introduced to Mr. Nissana Thaveepanit, Director of Overseas Market Development Office of DITP, the progress of the preparatory work for the upcoming Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024 in September this year, as well as the Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference(BTPC) . Looking forward to inviting Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce to attend the opening ceremony of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024 and deliver a speech, and inviting Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce to attend Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference(BTPC) .
Director Nissana Thaveepanit was very glad that Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show could be held in Thailand again, last year's event was a complete success, which caused a very good response in the Thai economic , DITP is very welcome and support the activities of this year's Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show, and he will coordinate with Shanghai Representative Office of International Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand,  to assist in the implementation of the cooperation with the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024. Shanghai Fair Committee visited Mr. Yong Seong Kim, Director and Mr. Seulgi Park, Deputy Director of KOTRA Bangkok and invited Mr. Yong Seong Kim to attend the Opening Ceremony of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024 and the Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference(BTPC) in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mr. Beilei Wang , Secretary General of Shanghai Fair Committee, also introduced that Shanghai Fair going to Korea will be held in Seoul, Korea in 2025, and KOTRA will be invited to be the co-organizer at that time. Mr. Yong Seong Kim, Director of KOTRA Bangkok Representative Office, was very interested in the "Shanghai Fair " Trade show and had a detailed understanding of the composition of exhibitors, types of exhibition areas, industry matchmaking, results of the exhibition and other related information, and also recommended professional associations such as the Korea Importers Association to Shanghai Fair Committee. On March 27th, Shanghai Fair Committee visited the Chinese Embassy in Thailand again, and Ms. Xiaoxiao Zhang, Commercial Counselor, warmly welcomed the visit of the advance team of Shanghai Fair .
Ms. Beilei Wang, Secretary General of Shanghai Fair Committee, thanked the Chinese Embassy in Thailand for its great support to the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2023 and reported to Ms. Xiaoxiao Zhang the achievements of the event from last year and the progress of the preparations for the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024, which is expected to be attended by 150 enterprises and 300 entrepreneurs in 2024. In addition to the economic and trade exhibition, round tables, forums, Business match meetings, Shanghai brand promotion, non-heritage exhibition, cultural performances, charitable donations and other activities will also be organized, and we are looking forward to inviting Ambassador to attend the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024 and deliver a speech.
At the same time, Secretary General Wang introduced to Senator Zhang the "Three-Year Action Plan to Accelerate the Enhancement of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Capabilities of Foreign-Related Enterprises in the City (2024-2026)" issued by the Shanghai Municipal Government,and this year we will organize the Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference(BTPC) during the exhibition , which focuses on the theme of ESG, 15 national chambers of commerce from 10 Asian countries will be invited to attend the conference. In addition to arranging for the participation of chambers of commerce of various countries, Shanghai Fair Committee also invites some districts and towns of Shanghai to do roadshows on the promotion of ESG practices in the city. We hope that Mr. Xiaoxiao Zhang, Counselor, will attend the "ESG International Cooperation Roundtable" and deliver a speech.
Ms. Xiaoxiao Zhang, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, said that the Embassy and Mr. Phumtham , Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, are very grateful to Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, Shanghai Service Federation and Shanghai Fair Committee of the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand for organizing the "China-Thailand Hi-Tech Industry Exchange" last year, which was highly appreciated by the Embassy and the Thai Deputy Prime Minister. She also expressed her appreciation for the theme of the ESG International Cooperation Roundtable 2024 held this year. Ms. Zhang introduced that the concept of ESG is well recognized in Thailand, and the Economic and Commercial Affairs Department of the Embassy would assist Shanghai Fair Committee in contacting and inviting international organizations related to the United Nations ESG to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, in terms of exhibition publicity, Ms. Zhang suggested to strengthen exchanges and communication with the FTI and the Commerce of Thailand, and proposed to focus on the publicity of high-tech products, high value-added products, digital economy, high-end service industry, etc., highlighting the concept of mutually beneficial cooperation.
In terms of inviting professional visitors to the exhibition, Counselor Xiaoxiao Zhang suggested that Shanghai Fair Committee should strengthen cooperation with the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, and that the DITP could assist Shanghai Fair Committee in organizing local large-scale purchasers and trade groups to visit the exhibition.
Finally, Counselor Xiaoxiao Zhang hoped that Shanghai Fair Committee could keep close contact with the Embassy during the preparation of the event, and the Embassy would assist in the related work. She wished the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024 a complete success.

In the afternoon of March 27th, Shanghai Fair Committee and Thai Chamber of Commerce in China vice president and secretary general Dr. Phaichit Viboontanasarn on this year's Thailand exhibition cooperation matters for full exchanges. The secretary-general of Shanghai Fair Committee Ms. Beilei Wang introduced to Dr. Phaichit the achievements of the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2023 and the preparatory progress of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024, in addition to economic and trade exhibitions will be held round tables, forums, docking sessions, Shanghai brand promotion, display of non-folklore, cultural performances, charitable donations, etc. Looking forward Dr. Phaichit to attend the opening ceremony of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024 and the Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference. 
Dr. Phaichit, Vice President and Secretary General of Thai Chamber of Commerce in China, expressed that they would fully support and cooperate with Shanghai Fair Committee in Bangkok, and also put forward some suggestions and ideas for this year's Thailand Exhibition.
1. Dr. Phaichit said that agriculture, food, home furnishing, daily necessities, fashion products, service industry, creative design and other products are Thailand's strong products, and we can start to attract visitors from these products.  
2. In terms of increasing visitor participation, Dr. Phaichit mentioned that some booths at the 2023 show were a bit simple in layout and the number of exhibits was insufficient, so he hoped that this year's exhibitors would be more prepared so that visitors could get more information about their companies. He hoped that this year's exhibitors could bring more exhibits for visitors to experience and increase interactivity. Exhibitors in the Consumer Goods category could prepare more exhibits for visitors to try, experience. Through interaction, visitors can prolong their stay in each booth. And set up a series of punch cards (elements) in the public area for visitors to interact and private communication, as well as change the communication mode from channelization to human communication.
3. Dr. Phaichit suggests that publicity can be carried out in public media in phases. Such as soft copy, radio broadcasting (traffic jams are very common in Thailand, so radio broadcasting is an effective way to publicize the show), featured products and other forms of publicity.
Finally, Dr. Phaichit said that this year's exhibition has enough time for preparation, and expected that under the joint efforts of both sides, this year's Shanghai Fair in Thailand will be a complete success.

The advance team of Shanghai Fair Committee paid a visit to Board of Trade of Thailand, the Thai Chamber of Commerce again. Mr. Kraisin Vongsurakrai, Deputy Secretary General of Thailand Trade Institute, and Mr. Viboon Supakarapongkul, Director of Thai Chamber of Commerce, warmly welcomed the advance team of Shanghai Fair Committee.
Ms. Wang firstly introduced the achievements of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2023 and the progress of preparation for Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024, as well as the Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference(BTPC) on ESG, and sent a letter to the Thai Chamber of Commerce to participate in the Opening Ceremony, BTPC of Shanghai  Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024. 
Mr. Viboon, Deputy Secretary General of Board of Trade of Thailand, said that he was glad to continue to be the main cooperation unit of this event, and put forward some suggestions and ideas about this year's event:
1.Mr. Viboon expressed that in last year's exhibition, the posters of some exhibitors were too small and unfocused, which made it difficult for the audience to see the kinds of the enterprises at a glance; at the same time, it was hoped that QR Codes that could be scanned could be added, which could speed up the speed and efficiency of the audience's understanding, and it was better to have the Thai version of the introduction of the company and its products, followed by the English version.
2. Secretary General Mr. Viboon mentioned that Thailand's International Trade Promotion Office of the Ministry of Commerce is a very good partner, they are strong in international trade and looking for buyers or suppliers, Shanghai Fair Committee can cooperate with them very wise.
3. Mr. Viboon suggested that there will be an international food exhibition (THAIFEX) with nearly 1,400 exhibitors from 45 countries in Thailand in May this year, and Shanghai Fair Committee can match with them to find visitors or publicity.
4. Mr. Zhuang said that Shanghai Fair Committee can use online or tiktok to promote the show, as these social media are the most used by local people in Thailand, and the radio can also consider. FM96.5 as a way to promote the show.
Finally, Mr. Zhuang expressed his hope that Shanghai Fair Committee would provide the detailed list of exhibitors to Thai Chamber of Commerce, so that they could organize trade missions according to the categories of exhibitors and actively cooperate with the preparations for this year's Shanghai Fair Committee , and that Thai Chamber of Commerce would publicize the exhibition on its official website, Facebook and its members' units, and would do its best to invite more members' units to visit the exhibition, and wished the exhibition a complete success.

On March 28th afternoon, Shanghai Fair Committee advance group again visited Federation of Thai Industries (FTI),The Federation of Thai Industries Textile Association Chairman Mr. Aroon Eamsureya and The Federation of Thai Industries Textile Association, Thai Chamber of Commerce in China director Mr. Chale Wutthanan warmly welcome Shanghai Fair Committee advance group's visit.
Ms.Beilei Wang, Secretary General of Shanghai Fair Committee, firstly introduced the achievements of the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2023 and the progress of the preparation of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024, and also the Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference(BTPC) on ESG to be held during the exhibition. Mr. Aroon and Mr. Chale will be invited to attend the opening ceremony of Thailand 2024 and the "ESG International Cooperation Round Table".
Mr. Aroon Eamsureya, Chairman of the Economic Research Institute of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), said that FTI is very pleased to be the host of the Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024, and Mr. Aroon Eamsureya introduced that FTI has 60,000 member units of 46 industry associations, and that FTI will organize the industry forum of the industry associations and invite the relevant member units to attend the symposium of this exhibition.  At the same time, Mr. Aroon Eamsureya said that ESG is well recognized in Thailand, and the Federation of Thai Industries will invite companies with outstanding ESG results to attend the conference. FTI will promote the event on its official website, Facebook and its members, and organize buyers according to the exhibitor categories provided by Shanghai Fair Committee.
The Thai Textile Association expressed the hope that in the future, when FTI comes to China to participate in the Fair and its member units visit China, it will be able to connect with the domestic industry associations and get the assistance from Shanghai Fair Committee.

On March 28th, the advance team of Shanghai Fair Committee visited Makro Bangkok Headquarter for the first time. Ms. Nattiwarat, Makro Dry Goods and Food Merchandise Manager, and Ms. Pim-Orn, Deputy Director of Commercial Food and Beverage Department, warmly welcomed the advance team of Shanghai Fair Committee.
Makro is a supermarket group under the Zegda Group and also the only warehouse-operated supermarket in Thailand, which provides a wide range of products for commercial operators (including retailers, restaurants, catering, service operators, government agencies, educational institutions and other commercial operators) all over the country, and the purpose of this visit is to hope that Makro will organize professional visitors to participate in the Thailand Exhibition of Shanghai Fair Committee. （The purpose of this advance group visit is to hope that Makro organizes the professional audience purchasing group to participate in the event.

On March 29th, the delegation of Shanghai Fair Committee visited the 7-Eleven headquarters which is a member of Zegda Group, and was warmly received by Mr. Nirun Tanruangl, the deputy manager of home appliances, mobile devices and IT electronics department of the group.
During the meeting, Ms. Beilei Wang , Secretary General of Shanghai Fair Committee, reviewed the achievements of the last year’s exhibition and elaborated on the progress of the preparation of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand-Trade Show 2024. And at the same time, she introduced to Mr. Nirun Tanruangl the Shanghai Fair Business and Trade Partners Conference(BTPC) which will be held during the exhibition. And formally invited him to attend the Opening Ceremony of Thailand Exhibition 2024.
Mr. Nirun Tanruangl gave full recognition to the results achieved by 7-Eleven Trade Mission at Shanghai Fair 2023. Nirun Tanruang said that he will continue to keep in touch with Shanghai Fair Committee to actively promote the exhibition information to suppliers, dealers and other partners, and organize buyers, suppliers and professionals of the Group to form a high-quality buyer group to participate in this year's Shanghai Fair , so as to promote economic and trade exchanges and cooperation at the exhibition site to a more profound level.

After the meeting, Mr. Nirun Tanruangl also accompanied the advance team of Shanghai Fair going to Thailand to visit the regular monthly supplier fair and the template store of shop24.

Chakkarin, Deputy General Manager of Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC), welcomed Shanghai Fair Committee to choose BITEC as the venue again, and BITEC will fully cooperate with all the work of the exhibition.Ms. Alisa, Sales Manager of BITEC, said that during the same period of Shanghai Fair Committee, there will be three other exhibitions held at BITEC venue, including Food, Consumer Goods, Furniture and Foodstuffs, which will have a good flow of visitors. Meanwhile, BITEC will support the exhibition and the Round-table Conference on International Exchange and Cooperation on ESG by providing official website and Facebook publicity, as well as proposing professional improvement suggestions for on-site visitor guidance.
In addition, Shanghai Fair Committee of Shanghai Fair also summarized the last year's exhibition with the main construction company and put forward the improvement suggestions for this year's booth layout planning. On March 29th, Shanghai Fair Committee and Jupiter Innovations, the local exhibition publicity and audience organization in Thailand, held the first working meeting in 2024. The meeting exchanged and discussed on last year's exhibition and the insufficiency of cooperation and this year's exhibition publicity and promotion work.
Mr. Zhu Jingyu, Assistant Manager of Overseas Liaison Department of Shanghai Fair Committee, introduced the exhibition situation in 2023 and hoped that Jupiter could promote the exhibition in a better and more effective way based on last year's performance, and expected Jupiter to provide advice and suggestions on the promotion and the exhibition site from a professional point of view.
Mr. Boyd, General Manager of Jupiter, suggested that online media promotion would be more effective than email marketing. Meanwhile, Mr. Boyd also made suggestions for the exhibition site, hoping that the product introduction of exhibitors could be more detailed, and it would be more effective if simple Thai language could be used, as he believed that not all Thais who came to the exhibition site could understand English.
Ms. Sirirat Khovikai, Marketing Manager, gave her insights on promotion and publicity, focusing on social media this year, such as posting on the official Facebook account of the show or the official Facebook account of the Thai trade and commerce industry which has a large number of followers, publicizing the event on Line or TikTok (the most popular social media in Thailand) and promoting it on FM96.5 will be more effective in reaching the target group.
Mr. Boyd, General Manager of Jupiter Innovation, and Ms. Sirirat Khovikai, Marketing Manager  expressed their full cooperation with Shanghai Fair Committee , and wished the event to be a great success.
